Abstract

This study examined the impact of human resource management (HRM) practices on achieving organizational excellence in the Civil Service and Insurance Office in Taiz. It focused on key HRM practices, including: HR planning, recruitment, selection, training, motivation, and performance evaluation, and their impact on organizational excellence dimensions (leadership, human, and service). Using an analytical descriptive approach, data were collected via a questionnaire distributed to all 50 office employees. Of the 48 questionnaires received, 46 were analyzed using SPSS for descriptive analysis, simple and multiple regression. The results showed that the office demonstrates a good level of organizational excellence with its dimensions. HRM practices were implemented at moderate to good levels. The study confirmed a statistically significant positive impact of all HRM practices on organizational excellence, with performance evaluation having the highest impact, followed by training, motivation, selection, recruitment, and HR planning. These findings underscore the importance of effective HRM practices in enhancing organizational excellence and offer valuable insights for improving HRM practices in the government offices.
