The Extent of Arabic Language Teachers' Integration of Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Its Challenges in Teaching the Language within the Green Line

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the extent to which Arabic language teachers within the Green Line employ artificial intelligence technologies in teaching the Arabic language. Methodology: To achieve this objective, a quantitative approach was adopted, and a 53-item questionnaire distributed across two domains was administered to a sample of 400 male and female teachers selected using convenience sampling. Results: The results of the study showed that the extent to which Arabic language teachers within the Green Line employ artificial intelligence technologies in teaching the Arabic language was moderate, with variations in the extent of AI technology use across the different domains. The results also showed that the level of challenges faced by Arabic language teachers within the Green Line in employing artificial intelligence technologies in teaching was high. The results further showed that the hypothesis related to the gender variable was partially supported. Conclusions: The study concluded that the extent to which Arabic language teachers within the Green Line employ artificial intelligence technologies was moderate, despite the high level of challenges they face. The results revealed statistically significant differences in the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the communication process in favor of female teachers, whereas no statistically significant differences were found attributable to the educational stage. Recommendations: Based on these findings, the study recommends strengthening effective collaboration with research and technology centers to develop and design educational models using artificial intelligence technologies that support and enhance the Arabic language, providing the necessary technological infrastructure to facilitate the use of these technologies, and developing teachers' competencies to employ them effectively.
الهدف: هدفت هذه الدّراسة إلى الكشف عن درجة توظيف معلّمي اللّغة العربيّة داخل الخطّ الأخضر لتقنيّات الذّكاء الاصطناعيّ في تعليمها، المنهجيّة: لتحقيق هذا الهدف، تمّ تبنّي المنهج الكميّ، واستخدام استبانة مكوّنة من (53) فقرة موزّعة على محورين، طُبّقت على عيّنة بلغت (400) معلّمٍ ومعلّمة، تمّ اختيارهم بطريقة العينة المتيسرة، النّتائج: أظهرت نتائج الدّراسة أن درجة توظيف معلّمي اللّغة العربيّة داخل الخطّ الأخضر لتقنيّات الذّكاء الاصطناعيّ في تعليمها كانت متوسطة، مع وجود تفاوت في درجة توظيف تقنيّات الذّكاء الاصطناعيّ بين المجالات المختلفة، وأظهرت النّتائج أن درجة التّحدّيات الّتي يواجهها معلّمو اللّغة العربيّة داخل الخطّ الأخضر في توظيف تقنيّات الذّكاء الاصطناعيّ في تعليمها كانت كبيرة، وأظهرت النّتائج دعم الفرضيّة المتعلّقة بمتغيّر الجنس جزئيًا، الاستنتاجات: خلصت الدّراسة إلى أن توظيف معلّمي اللّغة العربيّة داخل الخطّ الأخضر لتقنيّات الذّكاء الاصطناعيّ كان متوسطًا، رغم ارتفاع مستوى التّحدّيات الّتي يواجهونها، وكشفت النّتائج عن وجود فروق دالّة إحصائيًّا في توظيف تقنيّات الذّكاء الاصطناعيّ في عمليّة التواصل لصالح المعلّمات، في حين لا تُوجد فروق دالّة إحصائيًّا تُعزى إلى المرحلة التّعليميّة، التّوصيات: بناءً على هذه النّتائج، أوصت الدّراسة بتعزيز التّعاون الفعّال مع المراكز البحثيّة والتّقنيّة لتطوير وتصميم نماذج تعليميّة باستخدام تقنيّات الذّكاء الاصطناعيّ تدعم اللّغة العربيّة وتعزّزها، وتوفير البنية التّحتيّة التّقنيّة اللّازمة الّتي تمكّن من توظيف هذه التّقنيّات، والعمل على تطوير كفايات المعلّمين لتوظيفها بفاعليّة.
