The Arab Metric Score (AMS) is the first independent, data-driven quality index for peer-reviewed academic journals from the Arab world. Launched to bring transparency and rigour to Arab scholarly publishing, AMS assigns a composite score (0–100) and a quartile rank (Q1–Q4) to each indexed journal based on citation impact, editorial quality, H-index analytics, open access status, and peer review rigour. AMS is used by researchers, universities, funding bodies, and publishers across 18 countries.
